I attended the Jack White concert on July 27th this summer, with his opener being Benjamin Booker. The guy almost doesn't belong in this time because he's so talented and rocks like the classic acts of the 60s-70s, and he also doesn't like people pulling out their phones at his shows because he wants them to fully enjoy the show just like people did decades ago, without phones. At my last week at Earthwork, I helped track a solo album by singer/songwriter Ryan Robinette. Most instrumentals had already been tracked, so we spent most of our time tracking lead guitars with multiple layers and working with all different kinds of pedals and guitars to get the perfect sound. We also managed to track several vocal takes, working with over dubbing for multiple songs.

This week, much like the one before, I spent time searching through radio interviews for more clips I thought were interesting enough to use for short snippets on the station. Again, it was interesting to see a radio spot finally take full form as I helped edit and compile all the necessary steps to finalize the product.
